| The type 98T was designed by Gerard Ducarouge
and powered by a Renault 1.5l Turbo engine. The engine broke new ground with it's
pneumatic valve system but was too thirsty for the restricted fuel regulations.
Senna took eight pole positions and scored a memorably close win over Mansell in Spain. Pictures are of chassis number 4, currently owned by Peter Ratcliffe. |
